Some exciting updates!
Thank you for being part of this August newsletter. It means the world to me that people enjoy what I do and want to be a part of my journey. This letter will include updates about myself and online presence, Finn Fairlane, an upcoming author mention, and where to find me and my books next.
Hard Dates for the re-release
As always, before I jump into this section, I have to sort out a quick thought. I love writing, and in so love writing my newsletter. As a reader, I hate being bogged down by newsletters for newsletter's sake. So, I'll be as relevant and new as possible. Wow. One word is all I can say to describe the past month and the things coming up. I did Tampa Bay Comic Con and Florida Supercon last month. Both very great show, especially TBCC. I can't even describe the reception I got at that show. People were beyond amazing. At one point, these two ladies power walk up to my booth on the verge of panting, and were like, "We've been looking for your booth for 45 minutes!" A huge smile broke as I said, "Thank you so much! I think I would have lasted five before giving up." Just amazing people all weekend long. For those new to the newsletter, or those that have been reading and don't know. I also hand paint glow in the dark t shirts and canvases. The reason I bring this up is that my Florida shirt, The Land of Meth and Sunshine is already sold out and I need to make more. I never realized how popular that would be. It started as a joke but the steam it's gaining is pretty ridiculous. You can check out all my art and shirts at www.SavageCanvasArts.com. But to the writing! The Fortunate Finn Fairlane was supposed to be released August 31, 2022. I believe it is being pushed back just a few days. So, do not panic. You will be able to pick up the second in the series soon. And, if you haven't already The Fairlane Incidents (book 1 in the series) is already out and waiting for you to turn its pages. Book 3, the final in the series will be available around Nov. 2nd. (Just a quick mention there.) I did make a playlist for all the songs referenced in The Fairlane Incidents and a playlist for the chapter titles. Editing and other authors
Right now I am editing HeArt Work by Kiyomi Holland, a recollection of the author's discovery of her brain cancer and how she made it through the ordeal. I am just digging into it now, but so far it is a very good read. So, keep an eye out for that!
