It's gonna be May!
I am a dork but I make no apologies. If anyone is still having problems with the email coming into your spam folder, just click that button at the top marking it not spam.
The above said, welcome new members!!! I am so glad you decided to join my weird, little world summed up in my monthly newsletter.
My team and I have been working with AI to come up with representations of characters in the books. All of this is for future development on other projects that may or may not happen. ;) (old school emoji) But we've been having a ton of fun doing so and will continue to use it as a tool for simple needs. And for those like myself who fear Skynet and the sentience of AI, let your fears be quelled because they constantly need updating and rebooting. No worries. (that was a joke ... sort of)
I did have to cancel my appearance at Enchantment Con at the end of this month. Things happened and it wasn't in the cards. However, I'll still be at the other shows listed below. So anyone wanting to say hi again or for the first time, I'll be around those spots.
I have been getting some great reviews for both series and I can't thank you all enough for them. It sends a wave of happiness through me to know that my writings are being appreciated. As you know, Amazon only allows reviews for products purchased through them, but do not fear, if you leave a review there and purchased the books elsewhere, make it a review they'll allow by leaving a picture of you holding the book in the review. (Face not required). If you still don't trust the Bezo's Megacorp, Bookbub and Goodreads accept reviews without verification of purchase through them. I also believe Barnes and Noble is a welcoming place for reviews.
A little about my series
The West Haven Undead is filled with characters of all types. Whether you're caught up on the series or just diving in to discover the secrets hiding in plain sight in West Haven, you'll pick your favorites soon enough. Today, I would like to introduce you to my wife's favorite character in the series, Allison Petrovsky. Her short fuse and misguided anger are equaled by her love and loyalty to her friends. A junior in high school who wants nothing more than to leave West Haven will soon find that doing so might need to be put on the back burner. As an author, I welcome you to imagine her however your mind sees her in my writing. This is but one interpretation.

The West Haven Undead
June 3rd, 2023, ends the release blitz I had going on with the release of the third installment in The West Haven Undead series, The West Haven Undead. Yes, this book and the series share the same name, but it's a fitting name. For anyone wanting a new series in the middle without being lost, to pick up a continuing series, or just wanting to dive into something that you won't want to put down, The West Haven Undead will be your salvation. (I'm not sure what I was going for there. Something fun, but it unraveled) Here's the wonderful blurb to get you excited about it. "A mysterious stranger called Ashby is selling promises of self-empowerment to the town's misguided youth via a mysterious drug that seems to be doing more harm than good. As the death rate rises, Ashby arms himself with lies that could destroy The Nation. "With the adults distracted by their own problems surrounding The Nation, the Legends will have to reach out to the Normals, Duncan and Rex to help track down the elusive drug dealer. The team falters, however, as Bri and Duncan's relationship grows stronger; something not lost on Allison, who still struggles with feelings for Bri. Together, the friends must help Rex through his revelation that West Haven is not as quiet as it seems, stop Ashby, and overcome their own insecurities about who they are before believing the falsehoods they are told." Grab yourself a pre-order HERE.
Play Largo was two days ago and I met some new readers who are excited about diving into the series. So, to you, I say enjoy! My only May appearance is at Spooky Empire's Mayhem in Orlando 19-21, so come on down and see what the buzz is all about! June you can find me at Spookala in the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, FL the 10th and 11th! Both shows have great vendors, me, and a bunch of celebrities that will have you feeling all the nostalgia and current crushes. This will be the third month in a row I have not featured another author in my newsletter. I am trying to finish up the fourth book in The West Haven Undead, and it has been dominating most of my time. So, while I have no authors to spotlight, here are a few if you enjoy different genres or are looking to try something new: AP Foote writes reverse harem (rh) motorcycle club (mc), Mark Muncy, from Eerie Florida, writes non-fiction paranormal ghost stories based on, you guessed it, Florida tales and folklore. I had to update some of my author links, especially to Facebook. So, if you are already following me, you should be fine. If you choose to stalk me from the shadows and click the LinkTree each time, check out the new links below. As always, if you have any questions for me, want to know what makes me tick, or anything else, I can always be reached at Nick@TheAuthorNickSavage.com or at any of my links in my LinkTree https://linktr.ee/theauthornicksavage The best gifts you can give an author are to leave an honest review and to tell your friends about us. Spread the love and until next month, be good.
