Hello again, everyone. It has only been a little over a month and a half since the last newsletter. Not too shabby if you ask me.
My name is Nick Savage. I am an author, an artist, a tortured soul. I am the author of the Finn Fairlane series, a three book series that follows the misadventures of record producer Finn Fairlane. It takes a hard look at love, life, and having to choose between the life you think you want and the life you know you want.
The Nation series is a coming of age series in which the young characters have to come to term with their differences and try to find a way to help society accept them for who they really are. A series about vampires, werewolves, and fairies set not in the supernatural, but in today's society. All of these Legendary conditions are based on naturally occurring autoimmune responses that when combined add up to the creatures of legend.
The third book in The Nation series just returned from the first editor. I have made the corrections and changes she suggested and will be handing it off to the next editor shortly. Expect some announcements about that and any corresponding promotions soon-ish.
I was at the Tampa Indie Authors Book Convention on June 5. I would have loved to have seen a lot more people there, but unfortunately, people still weren't so keen on being in small rooms.
I will be at Committed in Louisville, Kentucky July 17th. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi!
As I said in the opening, I am also an artist. Lately, I have been experimenting with a new style that has gained quite a bit of positive attention here. You can check it out on my Facebook page.
I have been staying busy with several of the local area Farmer's Markets. If you're in the Central Florida area, you should come out and see me and the other amazing small business owners.
I am pretty much all over the place these days. If you want to come by and see me, your safest bet is to hit me up either through the contact me here on my website, on Facebook, or on Instagram.
I did take a week off in June to have family in from out of town. We did a bunch of touristy Florida things: the beach, Seaworld, Busch Gardens, Disney Springs, City Walk (twice), Old Town, and Celebration. I have to say, anyone that is here on vacation this time of year is a very dedicated soul. The heat is disgusting and the crowds are insane.
I hope that everyone out there in cyberland is doing well.
Until next time...hopefully, I won't forget to keep writing roughly once a month,
Nick
